JoSelle Vanderhooft

JoSelle Vanderhooft is an author, editor, poet, reviewer, and WisCon enthusiast with several publications to her name, including: Ossuary (2008 Bram Stoker Award finalist in poetry), Steam-Powered: Lesbian Steampunk Stories (2012 Lambda Literary Award finalist), the forthcoming novel Ebenezer (Zumaya Publications, fall 2013) and the forthcoming anthology Femmes Fatales (Lethe Press, 2013 Her poetry and short fiction has appeared in a number of venues including Goblin Fruit, Mythic Delirium, Jabberwocky, and Scheherezade's Bequest. Shattering Ableist Narratives is her seventh anthology, and she is thrilled to join the Aqueduct family. When not editing novels for several publishers and authors, she brews tea, fangirls over Doctor Who (though she has a preference for the classic series), plays with stray cats, and wonders why Florida has no seasons other than "hot," "really hot," and "OMG hurricanes!". She lives near Fort Lauderdale with her partner and her beloved orange tabby, Oscar.
